Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Public Notice

****PUBLIC NOTICE****

The Cedarburg Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of a program to achieve accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards.

Administered by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.

As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments by mail, e-mail or phone.

Agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling 262-719-0383 on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Comments will be taken by the WILEAG Assessment Team assigned to conduct this assessment.

Telephone comments are limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with WILEAG standards. A copy of the standards is available at the Cedarburg Police Department. The local contact is Chief Thomas Frank, 262-375-7620.

Anyone wishing to submit written comments about the Cedarburg Police Department’s ability to comply with the standards for accreditation may send them to the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group at the following addresses:
