MEET
"JAKE" - CPD's FIRST K-9 OFFICER
Jake, a 1-1/2 yr. old purebred
black lab has joined the CPD force as part of the
Department's first K-9 Unit. Jake is trained to detect
drugs; and soon will begin the tracking portion of his
training which involves learning to search for lost or
missing individuals. Since beginning his duties, Jake
is staying busy working drug searches and investigations, as
well as becoming acquainted with the community. Jake's
handler, Officer Brian Emmrich, a 12 yr. veteran of the
Department, was chosen following an in-depth selection
process. The Unit's supervisor is Captain Glenn
Lindberg. CPD's K-9 program is being made possible
through the generous donations of interested individuals and
businesses.
2009 SAFETY CAMP AND SAFETY TOWN -
Both
programs are co-sponsored by CPD and the Cedarburg Junior
Woman's Club. Safety Camp June 15-19 at Westlawn School;
and Safety Town June 15-26 at Faith Lutheran Church.

ON-LINE CRIME ALERTING & MAPPING SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE -
The Cedarburg & Grafton Police
Departments have launched an on-line crime alerting and
mapping service with CrimeReports.com. The CrimeReports service is free to the public and allows
citizens to receive automatic daily, weekly or monthly email
alerts if/when crimes occur near their home, office, local
school, etc. Through participation on this program,
both police departments are demonstrating their commitment
to service and the safety of their residents by making crime

PARKING CITATIONS CAN BE PAID ONLINE through new service.
Individuals desiring to pay parking ticket
fines with a credit/debit card by phone, the internet, or in
person may now do so using Government Payment Services
(GPS). For additional information or to use GPS, go to

Pay location code (PLC) is 6329 for parking citations.
Parking citation number(s) is required to process
transaction. Service fees are applicable. (MC,
Visa, Discover, Am. Express).
VEHICLE REGISTRATION SERVICES
AVAILABLE AT CEDARBURG POLICE STATION -
CPD has available for immediate issue regular
automobile plates, light truck plates, and motorcycle
plates. The department has been appointed as an
electronic agent of the WI Division of Motor Vehicles.
The appointment allows the department to process most of the
motor vehicle title and registration and registration
renewal transactions that are available at DMV offices,
including replacement titles, the issuance of license
plates, transferring of registrations and registration
renewals. Customers will be charged a service fee
that pays for the software, as well as department personnel
time. Service fees are: Renewals = $10
New Registrations = $19.50 Duplicate Title
Request = $19.50
