The Cedarburg Police Department is a progressive, community-oriented agency, serving a community of approximately 11,000 residents.  The Department consists of twenty sworn officers and ten civilian employees who are committed to providing the highest quality of police service in a professional and courteous manner.

Our Department takes great pride in the low crime rate in the City of Cedarburg, an attribute that continues to attract newcomers to our community.  We do, however, recognize that maintaining a safe community is only possible because of a strong and valued relationship between our department and the citizens of Cedarburg.  Our citizens recognize the importance of watching out for one another.  Because of citizen cooperation and involvement, the Cedarburg Police Department is able to more effectively protect and serve the people who live, work, and visit our community.
