The Cedarburg Police Department is offering a Hunter Safety course with the Dept. of Natural Resources. The course consists of 4 classroom sessions and one outdoor field day. Participation at all 5 sessions is required to receive Hunter Safety certification. The classroom sessions will be held at the Cedarburg Police Department, Community Room, W75N444 Wauwatosa Road, Cedarburg. The field day will be held at Ozaukee Fish & Game in Saukville.
The dates for the upcoming session are: Tuesday, April 3; Thursday, April 5; Tuesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 12, 2018. Class will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last until approximately 8:30 p.m. The Field Day date is Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Pre-registration is required. Contact Sgt. Pat Spaeth of the Cedarburg Police Department at 262-375-7620 to register for the class. In order to register, interested individuals must obtain a DNR Customer ID #. This number can be obtained by calling 1-888-936-7463. Any questions regarding the class should be directed to Sgt. The cost for the class is $10.00.
