Hunter Safety
Standard Classroom Hunter Safety Program Offered ATTENTION individuals interested in attending a standard hands-on Hunter Safety Program....The Cedarburg Police Department, in conjunction with the WI DNR, will sponsor a six week course beginning Wednesday, September 10. Classes will be held at the Cedarburg Police Station. The course consists of six classes (five in the classroom and one at the outdoor range). In order to receive certification, it is mandatory for participants to attend all classes.
Classes will be held on September 10, 17, 24; October 1 & 8; with the date & time for the outdoor range class to be determined later. Class begins at 6:30 pm with the exception of September 10, when participants are requested to arrive at 5:30 pm to complete the registration process; and will conclude at 9:30 p.m. on all evenings.
Pre-registration is required. Deadline for registration is Friday, September 5. Registration packets are available at the Cedarburg Police Station. For additional information, please contact Sgt. Pat Spaeth at 262-375-7620.
Age requirement: Students must turn 12 years of age within six months of completing the Hunter Safety course.
