Cedarburg Police Department Programs

Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program

The D.A.R.E. Program, sponsored by the Cedarburg Police Department, is taught to fifth grade students in Cedarburg’s public and parochial schools. This program involves six to seven classroom visits by a uniformed police officer. The curriculum covers drug abuse resistance strategies with an emphasis on awareness, peer pressure resistance, and self-esteem.
